Job description:
The Center for Health Communication is looking for an undergrad or graduate student to assist with the production of a student video series. This student will assist in video edits with footage provided by various students and leaders as part of the Eliminate Tobacco Use initiative. Time Frame: Spring Semester (approximately January through May/June with February and March being the busiest months) Hours: Up to 10hrs/week Pay: $15/hr JOB DESCRIPTION: Utilize phone video footage submitted by initiative partners to create a series of 30-second videos. Work with our graphic designer to add graphics in postproduction. Videos must fit Eliminate Tobacco Use visual style. Meet with project manager as needed for status updates, maintain regular communication, and deliver work products on time. Final videos will be posted on the Eliminate Tobacco Use website and shared at the national conference in April 2023. REQUIREMENTS: Must have access to the RTF labs, or own your own computer Must have access to video editing software 1-3 years of video editing experience Strong sense of visual transitions and pacing Basic knowledge of UT Box for file management Effective and responsive communicator Experience with After Effects and graphic design experience a plus but not required
