The Moody College Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is accepting applications for the Moody Media Scholars for Social Change. This program is open to all Moody College undergraduates who will be juniors and seniors in the 2022-2023 academic year who have an interest in engaging the issues of representation and power as they appear in the study and practice of media and communication. These Scholars, with the support of Moody's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the greater College community, will serve as advocates and leaders in their departments, advocating for innovative and equitable social change within Moody. Past Scholars have created mixed media projects such as video trailers for the annual Diversity in Media Symposium, Moody Instagram Live takeovers, and an ongoing catalog documenting the history of student activism at The University of Texas at Austin. We are now accepting submissions for the 2022-2023 academic year! The five students selected to join the program will receive a $2,750 stipend for the 2022-2023 academic year. *Applications are due by 6:00 PM (CT) on Monday, September 19.
